With A Song In My Heart/Page 2
"I'm the toast of the town
in my Paris Gown....." Susan
"sings" her prelude to
"The Gay White Way"--Susan gets to
wear the most incredibly
beautiful costumes.
"The Gay White Way"
In this number, "The Right Kind", Susan wore a blouse
that was also worn by Marilyn Monroe in another film. Both
Susan and Marilyn were
under contract to Twentieth
Century Fox at the time.
"The Right Kind"
The production for the
signature song of the film "With A Song In My Heart" is
beautiful to behold. Susan, in that gorgeous  white gown, with the background of the blue night sky and stars along with the elegant chandeliers and musicians--well, it's a memorable piece of film!

Robert Wagner was just starting out in his career when he got the chance to appear in this film with Susan. He has spoken about
how great she was in the way she guided him through their scenes.
Wagner was playing a young
soldier on a night out on the town with his buddies. They go to see
one of  Jane's shows, and she coaxes him to come up and join  her. She sings "Embraceable You" to him and then "Tea For Two".
